Two were adopted 1 week ago, so now six of the initial litter of ten remain. They continue to be typical fun-loving puppies, growing everyday and beginning to step out onto the streets. The puppies were given their first vaccination last week to help protect them from Parvovirus and Distemper, both deadly diseases. We plan to provide them with additional worming treatment tomorrow.

Our attempts to catch the mother of these puppies for desexing have been unsuccessful to date. We administered sedation medication but she is extremely wary of humans, especially since the local council dog-catchers recently attempted to catch her 6 days in a row. After this she disappeared for a week and has only just returned to the park. We have arranged with the local vet, Pet Smile GOP, to borrow a crate and a catch pole to aid us in our next attempt.
