Four cats desexed, three cat homes purchased.

Within a few weeks of desexing our first cat in Ankara, we have now desexed four. This is great progress. Featured below are the four cats. Two had already been mothers having produced several litters and the other two were about to come of age to start breeding.

We have also combined with Sebnem to purchase 3 Kedi Evi’s – Turkish for cat houses – for the GOP neighbourhood in Ankara. Turkey’s winter can be a hard time for our feline friends with regular snowfall and temperatures dropping to as low as minus 15 degrees! In response to this issue, a Turkish furniture company, Adore Mobilya, produces thousands of free cat homes from recycled chipboard. All they ask is for people to cover the shipping cost of 10 TL (equivalent to 3 Australian Dollars). Even better is their promotional video – hilarious, even in Turkish!
